Recruiting the best in autocare

If you’re looking for a rewarding career in the motor repair industry, you’ve come to the right place. Nobody wants to be stuck in a dead-end job, that’s why at Kwik Fit we encourage our in-centre teams to be the best they can be; offering great opportunities to progress and unrivalled training, in return for offering the best possible service to our customers.
Meet operational manager Wayne Coats. Today, Wayne is responsible for 9 Kwik Fit centres in north east Scotland, but at the age of 16, Wayne joined us as an apprentice, eager to learn new skills and carve out a career in the motor repair industry.
In this short video Wayne shares his Kwik Fit journey from budding apprentice to operational manager, the skills he has picked up along the way and the endless possibilities that a career at Kwik Fit can bring.
Key to the development of all our staff is the training that they receive. With technical training centres across the UK, new courses are being developed for our staff all the time to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest developments in car maintenance such as TPMS sensor replacement; and the latest equipment including our Hunter four-wheel alignment machines.
Over 4,500 members of Kwik Fit staff complete courses at our training centres each year where we provide 179,000 hours of staff training – that’s one whole week of training for every member of in-centre staff we employ.
Inspired by Wayne’s story? We are now looking for candidates to join the Kwik Fit apprenticeship programme. Register your interest before 21st February 2015 to be considered for our April intake of apprentices. Good luck!
